We are home from our lovely trip to sunny CA! It was so good to see all of the Murray clan and finally see Owen and Wes in real life. They are even cuter then the pictures Dee so kindly shares with all of us here on the blog. I will try to include some pictures here from our trip and see how it goes. In looking through mine I realized that the majority of those wonderful pictures we were looking at must have been taken by someone other than me! Maybe somebo DEE will post a few of her great ones! I had no idea if I would remember how to do this blog thing. Boy am I surprised at myself. I also have no idea if anyone will be reading the Daly blog, so oh well. Hi Deanna! Ha ha, see you in a couple of days. FYI, Gma Daly, Aunt Char and Aunt Claudia will represent the Daly clan at the wedding. Let's give them a great big CA welcome. In that regard, we already have a wildfire going strong, just northwest of us. We have plenty of ash, and also smoke when the wind blows this way, but no threat to SB proper as of now. Mom says she brings the earthquakes with her, as there have been little ones the last 2 visits from her, but I really don't think an Oklahoman by way of Alabama could have too much to do with that. OK, so I understand that summer is a busy time, but REEEEELY! We should just re-name this the Ainslie-Deanna blog....come on, Daly's - let's hear whats going on! Hope everyone has been enjoying themselves. Congrats to Dale and Cora on the new little one. Would love to see some pics! Hope life is back to normal for the Rick-Ainslie crew...sounds like a whirlwind year for you all. We are doing well, and doing lots of swimming, BBQing and diaper changing (still!). Owen is very resistent to potty training, even though he makes it through the night with a dry diaper, he has yet to impress us with a #2 on the potty! Well, the year of craziness is almost over! We are in Tampa finishing out the month with Rick and then we'll all be home--YEA! I can't wait until the 4th of July to celebrate everything getting back to normal! I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy! Hi family! It is a sad day that one of my grandkids tells me to check the blog that there is a little boy walking and I did not know it! I need to get back into checking this blog everyday or two just to see what's happening. Dee that is so cute and it is so cool to be able to watch Wes walking on the computer. I wish we had had this kind of communication available when you guys were little. It would have been so much fun! The grandmother is back home from the hospital and doing much better now. I think she will be back to her old self soon. Perhaps she can be persuaded to blog a little about her adventures in the hospital.....Oh no maybe not. Rinzey is having her 3rd, Third birthday celebration as I write, down at the gymnastics center. There is quite a large group of little tykes down there rolling around on the mats and even working on the bars and balance beam. I could not take the adrenalin rush of watching so I came on home. Hi guys, with this new blogger I can just email and it shows up on the blog. (the test). I don't know if it is just me or if any of you can do it too. Look on the dashboard and see if you have a settings tab. If so under it see if you have an email tab. If so it should have a box you can insert a name into to email to the blog. If not you can use the same one I do but it will say posted by Char at the bottom I think.

Hi bloggers! Is anyone having trouble getting on? We have changed to the new blogger (Google) I don't know what the difference is but if you want I can send you a new invite to join. The blog lives! Are you all slip sliding away back there? It's been really cold here, too, for California. This morning on my walk, it looked like snow on the ground, but it was a layer of frost so thick it was white. Our palms and flowering trees and plants look burnt and shriveled. I wonder if they will come back to life. Well, happiness is opening the blog and seeing all these pictures and happenings. If I ever get my pictures of you all from Christmas out of my broken camera, and then figure out how to post them, and then get the gumption to post them....then there they will be. It took me a while to remember my password. I had to create an intricate logarithm to solve my password dilemma: X=B to the nth degree, where X=number of days since last post and B=number of memory cells intact and n=the number of times Rylee said "monkey". So, as you can see, the problem is solved. We had a busy holiday, as I'm sure you all did too. I'm glad us four bloggers are still around. I have to say I love love love the calendar this year. It just keeps getting bigger and better. (see picture below...those are my in-laws checking it out). Thanks Char and whoever else helped with it. It is always fun to look at my uncles and aunts and cousins in various states of activities and watching the kids grow up!! Owen is growing like a weed these days. He can see over the counter, which means he can probably see over the pool table, which means that I'm going to have to break out the shorty cue for him pretty soon. I am just about to call myself normal again after all the goings on around here and the trips to far away lands last month and the surgery on my husband last week. I think our Family party was a huge sucess and the adult party was too except it seemed that one adult attending was a kid in disquise mumble mumble. Mom needed closed captioning to hear the bingo numbers and John mumble mumble needle hand signals. I updated to the "new blog" format, don't see much difference but if you have trouble posting, you may have to update also. I hope you all enjoyed the calendars. I would like to have year round input for 2007 so maybe I could work as the year goes by on it. Maybe if everyone would blog about what is...

To the Von Daly Family Singers, Happy New Year! One of my many resolutions is to contribute to the blog more often! Did everyone have a good Christmas? We had a good time, Rick was in town for 10 days and we really enjoyed our time with him. He is in Tampa now--it is around 80 degrees every day...it that crazy or what?
