Long lost family member checking in
Hi everyone. It's been so long, I almost forgot how to blog.
It seems strange to think of Rick and his family not being in Tulsa! I wish you all well in Cincinnati. I think it will be such a great experience....one of my dear friends here is from Cincinnati, and she is always nostalgic for it. She says it is a very nice city, with a lot of attractions. However, my Jim was there with his hockey team, and those kids went to town for a good time, and he said it was scary! So, I guess it has everything to offer. It sounds like you are just staying for the summer and then coming back to Tulsa for school?? No one will have time to visit you there! So it will be up to you to tell us all about it. The pictures are so cute...is that Peanut, or ???
Kelly, ya'll have been busy, sounds like fun. Did Ry get to fly yet? Best of luck in the Teacher's competition, will be pulling for you! Imagine, my niece, who used to play on the swingset in my backyard and do her cheerleading routine.
We visited with Dee and Scott, Owen and Wes last week-end. Dave and Robin were down from the northern parts, and Jim and Meg were part of the fun too. We took Tom's folks up to visit and meet the wee one. Half the family are Dodger fans and half are Oakland A's fans, and they went together to a match between them on Sat nite, which went to 17 innings before the A's came out on top. By that time, I don't think anyone cared who won, after all that rivalry ribbing before the game. Dee and Scott had a very nice Father's Day celebration on Sun for all the Dad's, and we enjoyed Scott's and Robin's families joining us that day too.
Well, girls, we may be writing to the air..don't know if anyone ever checks the blog anymore. BUT, if anyone is reading this, I hope you all go to Claudia's party and have a bang up time.
Love you all, Carol
